Butterfingers

Originally in the 1991 cookbook

Ingredients

2 cubes margarine
4 cups dry oatmeal
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
  3. Press into 9x13 inch pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and cool.

Frosting

1 (6 oz) package chocolate chips
3/4 cup peanut butter

Melt frosting ingredients together. Spread over cooled cookies. Cut into squares.
